How to get Reactions and Super Reactions FAQ in Discord
As of right now, Super Reactions is still in its testing phase and is only accessible on a select number of Discord servers.
There are times when a simple emoji may convey a lot more than words can. You may respond to the post with an emoji and let folks know what’s going on rather than typing out your response to the age-old discussion of whether coffee or tea is better.
What Are Reactions in Discord?
By the use of emojis, Discord’s Reactions feature enables users to convey their responses to messages.

To access your emoji menu and choose the appropriate reaction, you need to press the tiny Add Reaction plus smiley-face icon that is located next to the icon for the edit message menu.
Do you want to respond to a message with more than one reaction? The same Add Response icon along with a smiley face will appear next to the most recent emoji reaction, and this is where you may add any and all forms of fire that come to mind, including the following:
To help you become an expert at reacting with emojis, here are some additional techniques and tricks you can utilise. Have a look at them:
- When bringing up the Add Response screen, you may react with multiple emojis at once by holding down the shift key and left-clicking on the emojis you want to react with.
- Quick React with one of your more often used emojis at the top, or select a specific emoji under the Add Response tab: To respond to a message, either right-click the message you wish to react to or hover over the message and tap on the ellipses to access the menu.
What Are Super Reactions in Discord?
Do you wish to advance to the next level in your reactions? Would you like to respond to a message with an emoji and use it to emphasise what you want to say? You certainly can if you use Super Reactions!
When you respond to a message using the emoji of your choice, a Super Reaction will add a randomised animation to the response. When you want to give your reaction a little bit more hype, emotion, and intensity, Super Reactions are fantastic to use!
You can utilise a Super Reaction by right-clicking on the message you want to super react to and selecting the Add Super Reaction option, hovering over the message and selecting the Super Reaction dashing smiley face icon, or selecting the ellipses icon next to the Edit Message pencil icon. Alternatively, you can select the ellipses icon next to the Edit Message pencil icon.
If there are already reactions to a message or if you want to add a different Super Reaction to a message, you can press the Super Reaction dashing smiley face icon that appears next to the existing reactions when you hover over the reactions. This icon will appear next to the reactions even if there are already reactions to the message.
As you are selecting an emoji from your Emoji Picker for a Super Reaction, the edges of your Emoji Picker window will be glowing, and there will be a counter at the top of the Emoji Picker window that will display the amount of remaining Super Reactions that are available to you. All of this points to the fact that you are going to respond to a message with a Super Response rather than a Reaction.
A select group of Nitro and Nitro Basic users get access to the Super Reactions feature! Read on for further information in the following section.
How Many Reactions Does My Nitro/Nitro Basic Subscription Allow?
The Incredible Responses are visible to everyone! You have to be a subscriber to Nitro or Nitro Basic in order to use the Super Reactions feature.
There are three tiers of the Nitro service: Nitro Basic, Nitro Classic, and Nitro. Each tier grants its subscribers a different amount of Super Reactions each week. The following chart was generated based on your subscription:
When you utilise a Super Reaction or add to an already existing Super Reaction, one of your available Super Reactions will be used up.
In the following ways, you can check the number of Super Reactions that are still available to you under your account for the upcoming week:
- After you have selected the Add Super Reaction symbol, a number will appear at the top of your Emoji Picker. This counter will tell you how many Super Reactions you still have available to use.
- When you move your mouse cursor over an emoji that has a Super Reaction attached to it.
- When you right-click on a message and pick Add Super Response from the menu, or when you hover over a message and push on the ellipses icon, you may also add a super reaction.
How Do I Disable Super Reaction Animations?
You will need to change the setting to “Play Animated Emoji” if you want to stop the animations that play when you use the Super Response. This is the location where you can find the setting:
1. Go to the User Settings section of your account.
2. Go to the page that deals with accessibility.
3. Scroll down the screen until you find the option to Play Animated Emoji, and then use the toggle to turn on and off the Super Reactions animations.
Can I See Who Reacted With What Emojis To A Message in Discord?
You may open the menu and access the See Reactions tab by either right-clicking on a message or pressing on the ellipses icon that is located on a message. With the help of this neat little menu, you will be able to see who reacted and super reacted with which emoji:
Can I Remove Reaction/Super Reactions in Discord?
If you want to retract a Response that you’ve already sent, all you have to do is click on the box that contains the emoji of the reaction that you sent, and it will be removed.
You can also open the View Reactions tab from the menu by right-clicking on a message or the ellipses symbol and selecting the X next to your username under the emoji of the Response. Here is another way to access the View Reactions tab.
You can delete your Super Reaction by selecting the X that is located next to your username under the emoji that contains the Super Reaction in the same window that you use to view your reactions.
Note: If you delete a Super Reaction from a message, it will not be added back to the total number of available Super Reactions in your balance.
