How to Create Server Folders 101 in Discord
That’s true, your message came through crystal clear! Hello, and welcome to Server Folders!
How Does It Work?
How to Create on a Desktop
Click and hold down on one server while dragging it over another server for a few seconds, and then drop it into the folder you want to create.
By using the right mouse button to choose the server folder, you will have access to your Folder Options as well as the ability to Mark the Server Folder as Read.
On the Folder Setting box, you have the ability to rename the folder as well as modify the colour of the folder.
Just dragging and dropping extra servers into an existing folder is the method by which you can incorporate additional servers into the folder.
Note: At this time, you are unable to combine two folders into a single huge folder by dragging and dropping files between them.
Just dragging a server away from its associated folder will accomplish the task of removing it from the folder. When a folder no longer contains any servers, it will be destroyed automatically.
You will be informed by notification badges on folders whenever any of your servers that are contained within folders get notifications.
How to Create on a Mobile
On mobile devices, you can make a server folder by pressing and holding a server icon for a long time, then hovering it over another server, and finally dropping it in.
While the folder is closed, giving it a long press will allow you to move it around in the server list.
When the folder is accessed, holding it down for an extended period allows you to enter the Folder Settings and mark the Server Folder as Read.
