Note: At this point in time, you are only able to save gifs as favorites on the desktop and browser clients. This functionality for the mobile app is still in the process of being developed. Stay strong for the time being!

When you hover your mouse over a GIF and give it a favorite, a golden star will appear in the top right corner of that GIF. This indicates that the GIF has been given a star rating. This means that you have not marked this gift as a favorite, and the gold star will not be filled in. If you click the same gold star again, the GIF will be removed from your favorites.

Just remember:

• filled in star = favorite
• unfilled star = unfavorable.

How To View And Use Your Favorite Gifs

When you click on the Gif icon in the message bar, you’ll be sent to the very first category of gifs, where you’ll find your Favorites folder, where you may view all of your favourite gifs.

After clicking on the Favorites category, you will be able to view your whole collection of gifs that you have marked as favorites.

You’ll have easy access to all of the gifs that you love, and you’ll be able to send them in chat in a flash! (You can also immediately remove gifs from your favorites list from within the Favorites folder itself.)
